Dr. Claire Wolinsky

is a board-certified dermatologist treating both medical and cosmetic skin concerns in her Manhattan practice. She is known for her work with acne, rosacea, lasers, injectables, and natural-looking facial rejuvenation.

An accomplished oil painter trained at The Art Students League of New York, Dr. Wolinsky brings an artist’s understanding of light, shadow, proportion, and restraint to her cosmetic work.

Training

Dr. Wolinsky graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a dual major in Biomedical Engineering and Art & Art History. She earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the Keynotes Award for distinction in both medicine and the arts.

She completed her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident in her final year.

Credentials

Dr. Wolinsky is a clinical instructor of dermatology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and has been selected by dermatology residents as Teacher and Mentor of the Year for five consecutive years.

She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.

Experience

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Wolinsky serves as an attending dermatologist at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, where she treats complex medical conditions for an underserved community.
